History
LiuGong, founded in 1958 in Liuzhou, China, has a rich history as a pioneer in the construction machinery industry. In 1966, the company introduced China's first modern wheel loader, marking a significant step in the modernization of the sector. LiuGong continued to grow and innovate in the following years, and in 1993 it became the first construction machinery company in China to go public. This marked the beginning of a period of rapid international expansion. In 1995, LiuGong entered into a strategic partnership with German transmission manufacturer ZF, enabling the company to integrate advanced technologies into its products. Throughout the 2000s, LiuGong further expanded its global presence with a growing network of dealers, production facilities, and customers. A significant milestone during this period was the acquisition of Huta Stalowa Wola and Dressta Co. Ltd. in Poland in 2012, significantly strengthening the company's position in Europe.
